Raisins can contain up to 72 percent sugars by weight, most
of which is fructose and glucose. Raisins also contain about 3 percent protein and 6.8 percent
dietary fiber. Raisins, are also high in
certain antioxidants, but have a lower vitamin C content than fresh grapes. In Pakistan
these days people are growing on large area of Southern Punjab. It is found
this crop is very beneficial for the farmers.
